
Overview
Held in the city of Erechim, in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, the first Jornada Médica Internacional was designed with the aim of raising funds for the renovation and maintenance of the building where the first Jewish hospital in Brazil was installed, Leonardo Cohen, in the municipality of Quatro Irmãos.
However, this meeting, aimed at doctors, health professionals, academics and students, promoted the exchange of knowledge, networking and debate on contemporary topics in the medical field with such excellence that it acquired recognized relevance in the health and medicine sector.
The choice of the city of Erechim as the venue for the event was due to the infrastructure that the municipality offers. The city has hotel services, transport and appropriate spaces for the event.
