Dr Cyrille Cohen
Head of the tumor immunology and immunotherapy laboratory at Bar-Ilan University, Israel. He carried out his advanced studies at the Technion Institute, one of the world's leading universities in training scientists and engineers. He specialized at the National Cancer Institute of Israel.
Dr Gilberto Schwartsmann
Renowned oncologist, Brazilian professor and researcher, professor emeritus at UFRGS and member of the National Academy of Medicine (ANM). Specialist in the development of new anticancer drugs, he was the first Latin American to direct the New Drug Development Office at EORTC. He also has a strong cultural presence, having presided over the Porto Alegre Symphony Orchestra (OSPA) and is currently President of the Fundação Teatro São Pedro de Porto Alegre. Dr Nelson Hamerschlak
Graduated in Medicine from the Federal University of São Paulo (Escola Paulista de Medicina) in 1978, specialization in Hematology/Hemotherapy (1981), Clinical Medicine (1990), Fellow at Cornell University Medical Center (1989/1990) and PhD in Immunology from the University of São Paulo (1999). Hematologist and Director of Oncology at the Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein.
